Singapore Open Qualifier
After the successful qualification for the 2nd Stage in the US PGA Qschool I was planning to fly out from Raleigh (North Carolina) on Saturday 29th of October. Flying out on that day would have meant I am traveling via Newark and Zurich to Singapore were the qualifying for the Singapore Open started on Tuesday 1. November. I should have arrived on the 31st of October early in the morning, being able to play a practice round and get a bit over the 12 hours time difference.

Unfortunately the bad winter weather in the Northeast of the United States made it impossible to travel on my original date and the Airline had to reroute me and that with a 24h delay. This meant I was now not sure to make my tee time at Tanjong Golf Course on Tuesday 7.55am. Landing at 6.30am with back to back flights of 9 and 13hours I jumped into a taxi, changed cloth at the course and went straight to the tee. A bit stressed out I made a double bogey on my first hole. Slowly I found my rhythm and went to make an eagle and many birdies to be suddenly -4 on the 18th teebox. A pulled tee shot however resulted in a bogey and in the end it was one shot shy of making it into the top 5 to qualify for the Singapore Open.
Straight after play I packed up my things and jumped again into a taxi to be able to catch my flight at 3.50pm going from Singapore to Taipei, Taiwan. After the almost 5 hour flight and a 1hour taxi ride I arrived completely exhausted at the hotel in Tamsui.
